All that remains

This is all that is left of the snow that fell last night. Big white blanket one moment and then nothing but a few melting ice crystals the next.

I hope that this is winter now been and gone but somehow I very much doubt that.

Even tried to go for a cycle ride but very soon discovered that was a bad idea as it was not melting snow on the road but ice. Bike now tucked away for another day as my dearest would never forgive me if I dare mangle my bike into a hedge.
