Nursery Rose show

Today we drove 30 km from Belair to  the N.E. suburb of Tea Tree Gully, to visit a garden nursery rose show. And to order a few new roses for winter delivery.

This was at the very old Newman's Nursery which has been going since 1856, and has been always held in the same family. It is probably the best nursery in Adelaide and also includes an outstanding restaurant. We left after a wonderful visit, lighter in the pocket but heavier in the waist line.
