Wholesome lunch!

Wet again and dreary.

No plans for today apart from a trip to Pets at Home - Lili’s lead had broken last week and we’ve been struggling with a splitter for her and Poppy.

The local shopping area was packed today, parking difficult (a lot of people take the opportunity of parking for 2 hours free and walking into town, however the result is if you want to shop at those local shops you can’t park!). Browsed around the pet shop, purchased a new lead (pink one) and some treat biscuits. Taking advantage of Caleb being asleep in the pram, decided to go for lunch at the local supermarket (within the same area). Hubby felt he deserved a full breakfast - it was a bit filling for him and “greasy” so he suffered the rest of the afternoon.

Back home, watched Despicable Me 3 again in the hopes the Caleb would fall back to sleep, he was quiet and did eventually drop off to sleep in his cot.

Son and daughter-in-law arrived with Frankie, they have been to France for the weekend and had borrowed hubby’s car. Quick catch up and a hot drink before they headed off home (taking their belated Easter eggs with them). :)

Although it is Monday and I go out every Monday, it is bank holiday and “family” time, so I spent the evening reading my book (I let you go) :)
