A very wet start

Set off for Coleford Carnival of Transport at 0810 and soon rode into rain. kept raining until about 1100 and then brightened up until 1500 when it started to get cold and just a few spots of rain again.
When I got to Coleford I soon realised I'd forgotten my camera so I took the camera off the bike and took some stills. Of course, it doesn't have a screen/viewfinder so they all turned out useless as the camera was either aiming too high or at an angle.
This is a still taken on the move on the way to Coleford and I'm working on a video of the journey, some scenes there and then a bit of the journey back.
When I got home and told Marlane about the rain she said they hadn't had a drop in Gloucester. Ian and Kim came along in the evening and said they had loads of rain and they are on the other side of Gloucester about 3 miles as the crow flies!

It was a shame really that the weather still wasn't as bad as forecast, a lot of exhibits did not turn up and it's usually a fantastic day celebrating all things on wheels. Even Luke was there with a steam traction engine and other steam machines from Perrygrove.
We, the RBL Riders, again too the task of manning the disabled car park to ensure it was not abused by non-disabled people. A number of cars drew up to ask where the other car parks were, including a grey Peugeot which turned out to be Daniel, Joanne, Dhylan, Lennon and Hendrix! What a lovely surprise.
