Sunny Stairs

I am growing a little tired of my pictures of blue sky, sun and snow and made myself a promise to try and do something different.  Today it worked...
As the seasons move on the sun moves around the house. In the depths of winter it never reaches our stairs. In the middle of summer it is too high to shine onto the  stairs, with their attendant art works. But at this time of year it is just right, illuminating the stairs and pictures perfectly.  Of the pictures you can clearly see up the stairs all but one are HarlingDarling's production.
Today we had some friends to dinner, eating the duck we bought a while back. The friends originally due to come were sick, so we phoned around a little and got through to Johan and Kerstin and Mira, who thought dinner with us was a great idea!
