Flood Warnings

Living in a flood zone can be a bit unnerving from time to time but I do get alerts from the Environmental Flood Agency, however  I need to adjust my settings as I get a phone call, a mobile phone call, a text message and an email all at the same time!! (definitely overkill!)  I was coming downstairs this morning when all these bells and whistles started.  It tells you to  be prepared and take action.  I respond by nipping down to the river to take a look for myself! The rain stopped this afternoon and thankfully  the levels are dropping. I  Went out for a lovely family lunch to celebrate my son's birthday.  Home again now and just about to go to my monthly local Camera Club meeting.
