Let the train take the strain

Track works on the line up to Filton Abbey Wood.

Obviously waiting for some new track.

A ride up to Parkway Station on the bike path.

Son No.1 came along and gained a milkshake for his efforts.

This is part of the Filton Bank, more about which can be read here - it seems the promised four tracking is happening. I have only a vague interest in such detail (!) but can see that the development of a better rail service around heavily congested Bristol can only be a good thing.
