What a grey day
The sky was grey: the sea was grey : the car windscreen was splattered with half-hearted drizzle... creation seemed very sad.
So up into the heavens (the loft in the roof) and change time altogether!
It's the 1950's now and we've crawled through the hedge and the rusted wire fence and we watch the fun down the station with an old M7 loco wheezing about shunting the goods shed on the local line.... plenty of grey smoke - and whispy steam but not a touch of grey to our mood at all! We can smell the fume of the loco - hot oil and the special fragrance of coal smoke.
