Empty!

I am in the city centre for an appointment at the opticians this morning before going to a meeting of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists at lunch time in the west end.
There were only a handful of cars in the car park, the subway was quiet and the streets are empty. Only a few figures to be seen in this lane which goes past the Lighthouse. It’s too cold for the men who usually have this begging spot. One man is round the corner in Buchanan Street hoping for more passers by and the others are in the shelter of doorways.
