Mono Abstract

I have seen entries for Mono Monday hereabouts. Not quite sure how to go about it but here goes.
It's only midday here (10am in the British Isles) but I am posting early in case I don't get back here. Off to a big 60th Birthday Party in a few minutes. No idea how late it will go on until.
