a short trip north for the day
good talk and good food

we drove north to Julie's Dad's for Easter Sunday. J's uncle and aunt André and Joëlle (almost visible in the first extra :-D ) were there.

A good time was had by all.

Fun fact of the day: as I slid my bank card to fill up our car's tank, I realised that it had expired on Saturday... I had the new one, but had not activated it. Fortunately I still had enough petrol to drive to J's Dad's. I wrote him a cheque for the amount I paid to fill the tank at a station near his home. As Monday is a Bank Holiday (Easter Monday), I will have to wait until Tuesday to activate my card...
