Autumn castle rock
Cycling home on Thursday evening (this is a backblip), I noticed Stirling Castle just catching pale light from the last of the sun's direct shine. It wasn't stunningly dramatic but I liked the subtle browns and dull bronzes and golds of the leaves. The young beech tree in the right foreground had lost about half of its leaves since the day before, when I took a similar photo in bright noon sunshine.
