Creek 'X'

Made a long kayak trip (well, relative to the performance and seaworthiness - or lack thereof - of the craft) to an interesting looking creek system.

Unfortunately while signs of bones in the mangrove-y recesses of the creek were everywhere, with big cone shaped gouges in the sand where they had been digging out crabs, the creek remained high and dry as sunset fast approached. So it was a long slog home against the wind and tide.

Thankfully not a complete washout as there was a shoal waiting just offshore of which this was one of the members...
