One of Many

Some days there are a dozen cardinals in my yard at one time.  Both male and female (this blip) are gorgeous birds, but they would be more exciting if they were a bit more scarce.  I shouldn't complain.  They eat only their fair share (unlike the grackles and starlings), they will sit still for a photo, and then there is that stunning color to enjoy.
