Blousing ceremony.....

On Easter Sunday in our churches, new members of the Womens Guild are 'bloused'!  Here the womens guild wear uniforms and they have a meaning so they have to go to classes before they can join!  This young lady has just finished classes and so she comes to church wearing her blouse but as you can see she has her 'douk' or head covering put on in church and a black collar which is added after this!  We also had baptisms in the service so as you can imagine it was long....almost 5 hours...and that was shorter than some of my friends who were there almost 8 hours!  Lunch was provided after the service thankfully!!  Happy Easter everyone....no mention of chocolate easter eggs here although some chocolate easter bunnies and eggs can be found in the shops!!
