Happy Easter!

Lots of egg and chocolate related activity today.  Hard boiled eggs were painted and rolled in the garden (for once we appreciate  the steepness of the slope): chocolate eggs were then hunted successfully (that's the picture). 

We drove to Bowhill, near Selkirk and after lunch the children had fun at the adventure playground, and yet another egg-hunt.

Luckily the snow never really got going, in fact it was dry most of the time, but very cold indeed.

M and E agreed that they had  a very good day. Now they are fed and bathed and looking very sleepy, and the grown-ups are looking forward to  roast lamb and a nice bottle of wine and a roaring fire.
