Easter Sunday

Happy Easter to everyone! A cold Easter Sunday, definitely not the usual bright and mild spring day we usually have at this time of year. 

We celebrated by having some friends over for lunch and it was very relaxed and lovely to catch up with each other. Unfortunately Adam was not with us but he will return home again tomorrow night. We enjoyed a roast butterflied leg of lamb, lamb being what is traditionally eaten at Easter time.

I am now feeling rather full and will spend the rest of the day relaxing. I think this is the first Easter that we have not had Easter eggs in the house - I gave up chocolate last year as I was becoming too much of a chocoholic, the boys have never really been into chocolate, and Gavin, who does enjoy chocolate, has a stash of chocolate bars so chocolate eggs seemed unnecessary!

There was no time for photos today so these dying tulips will have to do. The bright colours do remind me of Easter and spring time.
