Fog 'n' Rain

Woke up this morning. Dense fog, snow and ice. So settled down with a photography book and found out that for foggy and snowy shots I should change my white balance to neutral and set at cloudy and never, ever at automatic.
This was important ! I've never been happy with my fog shots when there is snow around because I always got a pink or blue hue and sometimes both.
It worked!!
The blip for today was taken with virgin snow, drizzly rain and quite dense fog. No blue, no pink and no grey on the shot. Plus it is exactly as I shot it. No post shot manipulation.
I can see the delicate coloring on the redwood trees to remind me it wasn't a black and white shot.
See, it doesn't take much to make me smile.
