'Rejoice for the Lord has Arisen'

A beautiful morning :-) ..... chilly but it's so good to see the sunshine. I was down on the beach with T just after seven this morning and there were plenty of other dogs enjoying an early morning walk.

A quick cuppa, pump up the bike tyres and then it was a cycle to the harbour for a brief, but meaningful, Easter Sunday service. Lots of folk, some with dogs, some with buggies, gathered to worship on this very special Sunday.

These are my Easter eggs and not a chocolate one to be seen :-(  
One of the members of my church in Glasgow breeds and shows rare hens/chickens and when the laying season begins Edward brings boxes and boxes of eggs into church for the congregation. The cost is just a donation which goes to our church partners in India. The eggs vary in colour, very dark brown, white, pale blue, pale green, cream but whatever colour shell you can be certain that the yolk will be the deepest orange.
