The demise of the BBC

The old BBC building in Manchester is being demolished as they have moved on to Media City at Salford Quays.

nwmcr has posted a much better shot of this.

Mine is a quickie taken as I passed on the bus.
(in light of the Jimmy Savile* revelations that may not have been the best description)

Tomorrow we are off for a family break in Herefordshire.
Not sure of internet facilities so backblipping may be involved.

*for non british blippers information Jimmy Savile was an entertainer who worked for the BBC. He died last year and it has recently been revealed that he abused young and vunerable children and young adults throughout his career.
The BBC has some serious questions to answer and police investigations are in progress!!
