Wood Pigeon

SATURDAY

I had planned to cross the Pennines to see the Tornado at the East Lancs Railway, but the weather was so awful I went on the treadmill and listened to the radio on the headphones. Managed 10 km at a steady pace .

Nothing else to report. A couple of bird photos and that's it. The main photo was taken through the kitchen window - I can never work out how these big birds have the energy to take off. The extra is a tit on the bird feeder after a grey squirrel had rearranged the wire mesh.

Harriet has now returned home from university for the Easter holiday.
