Cold Hayes

This Gothic house is in our village, it is  half way up the steep hill to 'The Hampshire Hangers'.  I like all those chimneys!!
It was built in 1870 by Rev George Horsley-Palmer, who was the brother of The Earl of Selbourne (Selbourne is a nearby village).
I have put an extra of the house as I walked up the lane.
Sometimes their gardens are open to the public.
If you have time to look at my photo on the 4th Feb you will see the view from their driveway, towards the South Downs.
