Friday Fun

It's always a joy to wake up and realise that it's Good Friday and there's no rush to get up!

After a leisurely morning, we had porridge and planned the Easter weekend and week menu. Then food shopping with my younger one.

This evening's Friday Fun was at ours and I cooked Icelandic fish 'cakes'. This is a tinned processed fish 'cake' for want of a vetter word, that you slice and fry. A Friday Fun favourite!

Then we handed out Icelandic Easter Eggs to everyone (see window sill). These are long awaited by our friends, after hearing my girls gush about them. They are filled with sweets and a fortune, in the way of a fortune cookie.

Then we played Alias, with much shouting and hilarity. A cracking game.
