what we forgot back then - and today as well - is that it is our own sins he bore - on that awful day as he hung there - arms outstretched - god had to look away momentarily in order - to offer up his own son - to bear the unbearable weight of the worlds sin - imagine that, if you can
then imagine, once borne - god looking back - with an inconceivable love for all mankind - which will never be broken - and how that leads to...
