Hanging in there

The parrot tulips still look beautiful even though they are really past their best.

It’s rained nearly all day.

After a lazy start HtP joined me for lunch and then helped me to make a Simnel cake. It’s currently cooling so I’ll put the marzipan on the top tomorrow.

it briefly stopped raining so we took the opportunity to walk the dogs around the block.

They then curled up on the sofa with us as if they had had a hard day.
