Drowning in Chocolate

It's two days early for chocolate at Easter, I know. George, Kat and William came to lunch today. I thought a chocolate cake would be just right for afters.

The cake's a little more solid than I would like but the chocolate icing makes up for it, except I didn't have the right proportions of cooking chocolate and double cream, despite measuring everything out. Len had to rush down to the Co-op to buy a carton of ready- icing. But the chocolate icing I made didn't go to waste. We simply poured it on to the cake.
