Flowered Hat

My friend GM is an exceptional artist..she used things cut out of magazines to create portraits of mostly women but she does some other work also.   This art is hanging at one of our local buildings that allows local artists space on the walls of the building.      I loved the pink hat with the flower.    I asked her once how she comes up with these ideas and she said it just comes to her and mostly she is just playing.  And she had training and was an art teacher in a school before she retired.    

My flower friday contribution since I am really trying not to take so many spring flower photos!
