A Crown of Thorns.

Today was decorating Puxton Church day! I now have to do nearly all the decorating which is quite a big job so I roped in Mrs V to help. She decided to use brambles to make an interpretation of the Crown of Thorns which I thought was rather clever. See extras for my efforts and her other arrangement which will have a cross added to . It all looked quite good when we had finished.

Farming - Two out on compost hauling.

The weather had been pretty horrid all day. Steady cold rain which is my least favourite weather for decorating the church. I prefer sunny , birds singing sort of scenario. Never mind. I think we are in for quite a few more days of this.

This evening we will be shutting the curtains, lighting the fire and , to coin a phrase from Lady G , slonking! Well that’s the plan anyway.............
