Fountains Abbey

A day out for my birthday at Fountains Abbey. Although it’s not too far I’ve never been before and it’s a National Trust property so it didn’t cost us anything.

By the time I’d opened my lovely presents and cards and had breakfast, then we’d got a picnic ready it was after 11 so we only really had the afternoon there but it was lovely. Beautiful gardens to walk through, not too busy and dry!

Finished the day with a Chinese. Been totally spoilt.
