Moor

Drove down to W. Yorkshire, stopping as usual at Tebay and luckily just avoiding a massive tail-back on the M6 that was due to an accident. Took evasive action via Tebay village and Kendal - an interesting drive! Later heard that they'd had to close the m-way in both directions for several hours.

Got to C & J's in plenty of time to unwind and have something to eat - then up the road to the gig in Rishworth. There were some exceptionally good young local singers on and lots of old friends turned up.

I glimpsed the light from the setting sun on the moors from the pub car park as I was going in - think that's probably Saddleworth Moor.
