Teak

A day off work to get that boat cleaned up; how your boat looks says a lot about a person. Yes, I'm a shallow, superficial chancer. So, first up, the exterior woodwork. Not that there's a lot of it. Then the hull. Wash wash wash, removing all the weed and staining, and finally a good polish. Thanks to Johnny for showing up and applying some elbow.
All in a biting north wind and fine sunshine. Yes indeed, thirsty work. Imagine my surprise to arrive at the Diggers to find no chums! And meeting them wasn't made any easier by leaving the phone down at the boat. I consoled myself with a steak pie.
