Red Screes

Finally we feel better from the winter flu! To celebrate we climbed Red Screes from the Kirkstone Pass, quite a scramble and stunning views of the snowy summits from the top. This is the start of us getting fit ready for Canadian hikes in the Rockies.
We felt we deserved a treat after this, so called in at Lakeland Ltd for a bit of lunch and coffee, and to make other essential purchases!
I 'needed' some cake release spray for an intricate cake mould for George's birthday cake, and had a go at it this afternoon. Very pleased with the results and will try decorating tomorrow!
