Shedding

Got my cast off today. Bone healed well and doc happy with progress.

Was a bit freaked out when they took the cast off. My wrist immediately swelled up and I had almost no strength to move it. Plus it hurt like hell. I almost begged them to put the cast back on. BUT I was brave and I’m the short time it took to have it x-rayed and I saw the doctor again it had settled down.

A session with the physio and I was off home with a list of exercises to do and the assurance that it wouldn’t be long before it stopped looking like I was turning into a strange reptilian being from another planet.
