Toys of the Past.

Many years ago, my brother and I both received one of these Kalidoscopes in our Christmas stockings. I used to love the different coloured patterns it made and I remember that I thought they looked a bit like the opening scenes from 'Jackanory' (a childrens TV programme of the time). I'm so pleased I still have it as it is so different from anything that would be made today. It is made of tin, in England! The pictures of the children look incredibly dated now but are a fascinating record of the way things used to be. I can also confirm that it still works!
