In to the sun...

Lots of activity in the east facing hedges this morning.  Early birds maybe.    With no foliage on the trees  it's still a bit early for many smaller birds to start nesting and it'll be mid-April before the Hawthorns will have their gorgeous bright green fresh leaves.

The extra pic shows the same 'Blackie' scurrying along the fence rail, perhaps she spotted some food?
