Danger........Curves Ahead

We drove to the beach this morning and I took this photo out the front window of the Pickup (I was NOT driving.) The drive on Hwy 6 was blasted through a rock in this area; you can see the resulting split rock ahead. If you look closely you will see a white cross place along the road at the base of the rock; someone was killed there a short time back. Many crosses mark the locations where a loved one died in a car accident. We usually feel safe in our cars, but driving on this curvy highway is not exactly safe. People drive too fast and pass when it is unsafe. I am grateful that all the family members who came over for Spring Break Vacation made it safely......we will taking this same road back too soon.
