2018 Monday — The Business of Death

Today we needed to make arrangements.

Mr. Fun’s mom, Grammie Fun, passed-away this past Friday afternoon.

As Mr. Fun & I sat waiting for the mortuary official to begin meeting with us, I looked around the room at the items to purchase to put ashes inside of — jewelry and framed displays — and just a room away from us was “the casket room.” I turned to Mr. Fun to say, “Death is a huge industry.” He nodded his agreement.

At the moment all the paperwork and decisions and cost is quite overwhelming.
