Golden Leaves

I love how the golden leaves dress up the chocolate brown tree trunk.
They have not fully changed in color but I had to capture them today before the predicted (promised?) big wind and rainstorm arrives this weekend and strips all the trees bare... except the red oak leaves will hang on. I hope they have not turned drab brown yet before I can blip them again.
Have you "tree watchers" noticed the bare branches seem to have buds of the next season's leaves already on them? Isn't Nature grand?
