Wild Wednesday: Feeding time

We got to meet up with Turnx3 and her husband Roger again today! A much longer time with them and they treated us to lunch! Very nice too.

We were in Wafi, so headed to the see the flamingos at the Wildlife Sanctuary at feeding time. They are such interesting birds to watch! So gentle and considerate. They quickly get out of the way when the feeder arrives, giving him space to scatter the food, and they form a "welcome party" to greet him as he drives up. So funny!

We enjoyed Frappes at La Mer later, and then drove through City Walk and the boulevard that goes around Dubai Mall/Downtown Dubai before taking them to the top of the car park that gives great views of the Creek! A very good day in which we enjoyed each others' company and chatted a lot. Thank you Blipfoto for creating such an amazing community!
