Blue....

...sky.

I went for a swim this morning and did fifty lengths. It was a good job I bumped into Carey and Paula there otherwise I wouldn't have spoken to anyone at all. I was feeling a bit down today for some reason and it took most of the day to shake it off.

I finished off my book and then decided I needed some fresh air this afternoon. The sun was shining and it was lovely out there. From my bathroom I can look across the linear walkway to the cricket club so I walked round there and took a pic looking back to my house, then I went around the Green. I remembered to exaggerate the heel toe walk so that I added extra punch into my muscles and help to straighten my leg.

I decided to get my bike out when I arrived home. I haven't ridden it for at least eighteen months as it was too painful. It had cobwebs between the spokes and both tyres were as flat as a pancake. I pumped up the tyres, I oiled and I cleaned it all up....then I took it out onto the road to see if I could ride it. I was quite nervous, which surprised me and it took a few moments before I launched myself forward. I went about fifty yards then wobbled fifty yards back....I was disappointed that it was a bit painful and felt completely different to the bike in the gym. Oh well, I'll try again in a few days.
