Exmoor.

This is one of my favourite pictures which we bought quite a few years ago now when visiting RHS Rosemoor in Devon. I fell in love the feeling of the wide open moor and the brooding skies! A sight we have enjoyed so many times. I love both oil paintings and water colours! In fact I just love art!

Up early again to muck out stables . Mr Tbay Jnr managed to track down 2 bales of wheat straw yesterday and we returned the barley straw back. Barley straw is not really good for the horses as they will eat it given half a chance. Partly a problem as the ponies are always too fat and party as it can cause compaction of the gut. Only solution if we had to have used it was to spray the beds with Jeys Fluid the smell of which I hate! Anyway problems all averted and this morning I was able to give them lots of new straw!

Farming - Two on compost as usual. Mr Tbay Jnr working for Country Haylage again. Mr Tbay in the office today.

Weather still quite miserable . Wet for quite a lot of it so delaying any hope of livestock getting out yet. It will be a late season I think as the grass has yet to really get going.
