Hardly a replacement!

The "swing bridge" - a local landmark- was removed a while back, much to the upset of many. It used to freak my mum and some pals out when I'd jump on it when I walked over it to make it swing, since it was over the river. In its place we have what some refer to as a "memorial seat to the act of vandalism". The new bridge looks rubbish and doesn't swing. If they had to replace it surely they could have done it with another swingy one since that's what made it exciting!
