Standing Stone

Pencraig Brae.
My thoughts had been that I'd get right up and under it for an interesting angle, but the field is newly planted and the freshest, most delicate signs of life would not do well under my clod-hopper feet. So I stayed this side of the wall.

Instructions accompanied my mattress (amazing that a mattress needs guidelines) and I have been following these to a T.
It's not a 'turnable' one apparently but has to be 'flipped' once a week for the first few months, thereafter every month or so.
Well, no way was I going to be hefting the thing round every week so I decided to sleep weekly either at the head or foot. It has caused me a few night time dis-orientatiions but I sort of look forward when it's time to be back at the headboard. Only a few weeks to go until I can have a whole month of that but after that I think I'll forget the whole 'flipping' malarky.
