Farranamanagh Strand
The temperature has dropped , the sun has come out and the wind is fresh but what a beautiful day - the colours and clarity. I did chores this morning then headed down to Farranamangh for a bit of a blow and got swept up in the whole thing and did a big walk aroud the headland. Not a soul was spied but wildlife abounded - swans, egrets, ducks, and two alpacas!
Friends coming for supper later - Himself is making a pizza and I'm resurrecting the book club cake (previously frozen so it should be grand!).
Lots of interesting comments on yesterday's post box. I confused things with my title - it wasn't actually the only post box left standing in Ireland but the last one geographically before hitting America. It does indeed get emptied every day by the lovely Danny the postman who knows everything!
