St Peter's Church, Heysham

A change they say is as good as a rest...a landscape image! This little church was totally renovated over 12 months ago . It's been in continuous use since circa 1200. Irritatingly, if you look carefully at the right of the picture, some of the teetering grave stones are held up by thick poles to prevent them from falling..I do hope that's only a temporary measure and the intention is to get around to placing them vertical again, ASAP..Right now it ruins the ambience of the entire graveyard:(
