Heaven Sent

Today we said farewell to Louise.  My rose Heaven Scent seemed appropriate to blip.   It was a good send off for her but such a sad sight to see her Dad tearfully thank the full house for coming and walk her coffin out in the honour guard.  No parent should have to say goodbye to their child should they.

The thought that I came away from was what the minister said about love, and that is when it has been given to you, you must give it away.   Pass it on so to speak.   Louise was such a gentle kind soul with a great love of her family and her dogs.  She received two 10 year visiting awards.  Given the life span of our dogs, it is an amazing achievement for a dog team to be visiting together for 10 years.  Her ten year dogs are in the extra photo.  Bailey the Goldie at the front of the pack and Isabella, the Goldie to her left.  I took that photo in November 2009 and it was used in an article that was written about her.  Our meetings will not be the same without her.

Go well my friend, reunited with three of your great loves,  your mum, Bailey and Wil.
