Yellow and blue
Complementing yesterday's red leaves, here are some yellow leaves set off beautifully by the sharp blue sky. There's a real nip in the air now, but I managed to pick a few blackberries today, the last of the juicy ones I'd spotted. The birds can have the shrivelled and unripe ones. I'm making a blackberry crumble today as the inlaws are coming to stay for the weekend and want to perpetuate the illusion of domestic goddessery (and illusion it most definitely is!), so I'll use today's along with some from the freezer I picked a few weeks ago.
The church in the photo is St Ninian's Old Parish Church, Stirling.
