two birds

Well it was a beautiful sunny day today in Southern California! 
After sleeping in, we took a quick walk to see the beach in daylight, then enjoyed morning coffee sunbathing in our private back yard complete with the lovely fragrance of blooming jasmine plants. Then while hubby and hound took a nap, I beachcombed for sea glass in the afternoon. Also seen along the way was this wild parrot on a power line and, in extras, a Bird of Paradise poking out of the folliage into the light of day.
