Red Sky at Night

After a very wet, foggy start to the day, it ended up being quite lovely, except I didn't get to see any of it as I was on the usual Tuesday late shift.  It was so frustrating after going out last night in the hope of a good sunset, so I nipped out of the front door of the surgery and quickly took this shot.

I went to the gym this morning and swam 40 lengths, went in the steam room to hopefully ease my congestion and than had the usual relax in the jacuzzi and sauna.  I always enjoy that on a Tuesday morning before work.

This afternoon one of our patients that's  a well known TV star came in to see Steve.  It's the first time I've met this person, who was really lovely and obviously genuinely nice, not just for the TV screen.

Alan picked me up from work, but when we got home we couldn't get to our house as we live in a small close and a Tesco delivery van had broken down blocking the road. There was a second delivery van trying to get it started with jump leads but they were having no joy so we've had to leave our cars down the road.  There's currently a repair truck trying to get it started but they're obviously having a problem as we've  been home well over an hour now and they're still there - I hope the other delivery truck unloaded the food orders, otherwise there's going to be a lot of unhappy customers!

Anyway, lets hope the saying 'Red Sky at Night, Shepherd's Delight’ is right and we have another lovely day tomorrow!
