Step backwards

Clearing out today unearthed 2 cameras I no longer use. One of them, a Canon PowerShot 210, used to be my 'always with me' until I switched to the x30 zoom of the Sony DSC-HX90. I was amazed to find that the battery was still fully charged and the date and time were absolutely correct. I took this shot of Pixie to check all was well. The previous pic on the camera was taken on 21/08/15 - that's nearly 3 years the battery has held its charge - I'm impressed!
The other - a Fujifilm compact, was as dead as a Dodo.
